Doctor Angela Gear
We are pleased to offer the Chiropractic and Acupuncture services of Dr. Angela Gear.
I was born and raised in Luck, Wisconsin (about 85 miles northeast of the cities). After graduating high school with the 26 others in my class I attended undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point to earn my bachelors of science in Human Anatomy. I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2000 and then started my own practice in Eagan.
I prefer the hands on natural approach to health care. Chiropractic care and acupuncture makes more sense to me than traditional allopathic medicine. I use a diversified approach to treat patients using motion palpation techniques with an emphasis on neuromuscular reeducation. Restoration of joint mobility, function and strength, pain relief and rehabilitation are achieved with chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, essential oils, physical therapy and exercise instruction. I continue to add new yoga, pilates and sport medicine techniques to my practice to facilitate rehabilitation.
I owned a family practice in Eagan for eleven years while teaching for Sister Rosalind’s Schools of massage. I currently treat pediatric patients, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, medicare patients, workers` compensation cases, and provide prenatal care, nutritional counseling and exercise instruction now in Burnsville and Highland Park. I have been affiliated with the Christian Ministries as an instructor of the clinical sciences for our schools or massage therapy since 2002. I am currently teaching as adjunct faculty for the Allied Health Department of Rasmussen College.
If you have any questions about my practice please come in so I may address them. It would be my honor to serve the health care needs of you and your family. A wise yoga instructor told me that a flexible spine leads to a flexible mind and I agree wholeheartedly.
