Meet The Doctor Rochester, Minnesota -- Sister Rosalind Massage and Wellness Center 
We are pleased to offer the Chiropractic services of Dr. Becky Mjoen, a graduate of the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. Greetings, Mine was a childhood immersed in science. My father was a high school biology teacher and my mother was a registered nurse. Growing up our days were filled with opportunities to discover why things were the way they were in the world. Why do you get a fever when sick with the flu? Why do the flowers grow toward the sunlight? Why do you breath harder when you are in the mountains? These and many other questions were common conversations in our household. It was wonderful - and I was one of the four children in the family that developed a true love of science. I always knew growing up that I would like be part of a profession that would help others. I just wasn't sure which path to take. My older brother had opened his chiropractic office at the same time that I was getting my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I had a couple of opportunities during my summer breaks to work for him as receptionist. The more I learned about chiropractic the more intrigued I became. Chiropractic is an approach to health care that made sense to me. It is based on the idea that the power that made the body, heals the body. I did graduate from Winona State University; however, I started my education in chiropractic shortly after that. After graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, I went into practice with my brother for the first few years and loved it. Then I was off to the Twin Cities. I worked as a relief doctor for a number of years. And then I moved to the chiropractic college - my alma mater. And was an Assistant Professor working in one of their outpatient clinics. I have had the privilege of helping so many individuals over the years with various health concerns. My youngest patient to date has been two days old, yes, two days old and my oldest patient has been 94. All patients come with their unique set of health challenges. And I feel that it is a gift, from them to me, each time they put their health into my hands. And now, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to provide care, as a chiropractor, to the people in the Rochester area. I am thrilled to be working with Sister Rosalind's School and Clinic of Massage and look forward to ministering to those that come through our doors. Feel free to stop in or give a call.
